Global Supply Chain Management – Research and Innovation is an initiative of the Global Supply Chain Management Research Group of Università degli Studi di Bergamo.

The aim of the blog is to provide researchers and managers with insights about how to better manage global supply chains and to foster related discussion.

Matteo Kalchschmidt is Associate Professor of Innovation and Project Management. He has published in several international journals on Supply Chain Management and Demand Planning.

Ruggero Golini is Assistant Professor of General Management and Supply Chain Management. In 2011 he received his Ph.D. in Economics and Technology Management with the thesis “Global Supply Chain Management in the Manufacturing Industry – Configurations, Improvement Programs and Performance”. His research interests are focused on global supply chain management and global value chains.

Jury Gualandris is Lecturer (Assistant Professor) at UCD school of Business (Dublin, Ireland). In 2014, he received his Ph.D. in Economics and Management of Technology at University of Bergamo (Bergamo, Italy). His research interests are related to Sustainable Supply Chain Management, Supply Chain Risk Management, and Value creation in Purchasing and Supply Management. His research is published in leading journals such as ‘Supply Chain Management: An International Journal’, ‘International Journal of Production Research’, ,Journal of Purchasing and Supply Management’, and ‘International Journal of Logistics Research and Application’.
